How to use it
- Choose your JPG files or drop them into the box.
- Wait a moment while each image is converted.
- Press the download button next to each WebP file.
Why convert JPG to WebP?
WebP files are often 25 to 35 percent smaller than JPG at similar quality, which makes websites load faster.
The converter redraws each image on a canvas inside your browser and saves it in the new format. Dimensions stay the same. Because there is no upload, it works quickly even for big photos and keeps private pictures private.
Tip: if you also need a smaller file, convert first and then use the compress tool to hit an exact size such as 50KB or 200KB.
