When a PDF is needed
Job applications, visa forms, school portals and insurance claims often ask for one PDF instead of separate photos. A single PDF is easier to upload and to keep in order.
Step 1: take clear photos
Photograph each page flat, in daylight, with the phone parallel to the paper. Avoid shadows and cut-off corners. For tips see how to photograph documents with a phone.
Step 2: open the converter
Open image to PDF in your phone browser (Safari or Chrome) or on your computer. Add the photos, one after another.
Step 3: put them in order and download
Check the order of the pages, then create the PDF. It is built inside your browser, so your documents are never uploaded to a server.
Step 4: make the PDF smaller if needed
If the upload limit is small, compress the photos first with the 200KB or 500KB tool, then build the PDF again.
JPG to PDF or PNG to PDF?
Both work. Phone photos are usually JPG; screenshots are PNG. The JPG to PDF page is the same tool with a JPG focus. HEIC photos from an iPhone should be converted to JPG first with the HEIC to JPG tool.
Privacy
Identity documents and bills are sensitive. A browser-based tool that does not upload files is a safer choice than a random converter website.
